Modos de reflexión: siete artistas trabajando en Mexicali y el Valle Imperial” se exhibió en Steppling Art Gallery de SDSU-IV del 14 de febrero al 14 de marzo de 2019, en donde se presentó el trabajo de un grupo de artistas cuyo punto de encuentro es el estado de reflexión que da lugar a su producción. Esta reflexión ocurre al ser conscientes del contexto espacial y cultural en el que trabajan, así como por un análisis de los medios conceptuales y materiales de la producción artística, ideas filosóficas y pensamiento crítico.

The exhibition “Modes of Pondering: 7 Artists Working in Mexicali and the Imperial Valley” took place in Steppling Art Gallery at SDSU-IV from February 14th to March 14th and presented the work of a group of artists which meeting point between their practice is a state of pondering that gives place to their production. This pondering or musing occurs by being aware of the spatial and cultural context in which they work, as well as by an analysis of conceptual and material means of artistic production, philosophical insights and critical thought.“
